Navigating the Arch Table

In this article you’ll learn how to best filter and adjust information on the Arch Portal.

Updated over 11 months ago

Regardless of what page you are viewing on the Arch Portal, you are able to adjust the results you see and the amount of information listed on the page. With the new Arch Table, you can easily customize your view to see your preferred information.

All columns can be reordered and expanded to display relevant holding details. Simply click the two horizontal lines in a given column and drag to re-order. Divider lines between columns can also be clicked and dragged to expand or reduce their width.

Steps to filter your view

  1. Navigate to the tab with the table you would like to view by using the navigation bar on the left hand side of the portal

  2. To filter your results, select from the dropdown menu in the top left of the relevant table for each column to limit your results

    1. If you do not already see the options for Filters shown above, click the FILTER button in the top right of the table and then proceed with step 2

  3. Once you have checked off the values you would like to filter for, you will only see the activities matching those filters

NOTE: Each tab will have slightly different filterable fields! Depending on the tab (Holdings, Account Activity, etc.), you may see more or fewer filterable views.

Steps to group your view

  1. Navigate to the tab you would like to view by using the navigation bar on the left hand side of the portal

  2. Click ADD GROUP on the top left of the relevant table to reveal a drop-down menu of options to group your table by. Tables can be grouped by any column: entity, holding, firm, or even custom columns

    1. If you do not already see the options for Filters shown above, click the GROUP button in the top right of the table and then proceed with step 2

  3. Once a group is selected, results will be shown as nested fields that can open up to reveal the underlying information

  4. Ungroup your view by clicking the X next to your grouped field

NOTE: You can add multiple layers of grouping! For example, group by Investing Entity, then by Firm to see an investor's concentration in a given firm.

Steps to add or remove columns from your view

  1. Navigate to the tab you would like to view by using the navigation bar on the left hand side of the portal

  2. Once on the correct tab, click the three dots next to GROUP and FILTER on the top right corner of the relevant table

  3. Select EDIT COLUMNS

  4. You will then see a menu listing information you may add or remove from your tab view

  5. Toggle columns on or off to add or remove them from your view

  6. Pin columns to the left and right side of your table by selecting the corresponding pins

  7. Re-order your columns from this view by clicking and dragging the two parallel lines

NOTE: Your selections in this view will be sticky, and will appear the same way every time you access that tab going forward.

Steps to reset your view to the default

If at any time you would like to revert your preferences back to Arch Table's default view, simply click the three dots in the upper right hand corner of the table and select RESET TO DEFAULT VIEW
