#1 Investment List Configuration
The first step in the onboarding process is to provide a list of investments that will be managed by Arch. Arch will provide you with the excel template below,
It is comprised of three tabs: Instructions, Holdings, and Authorized Signatories. Please read the instructions carefully to expedite the onboarding process. They are also summarized here:
Holdings
Holdings
Partner Entity Legal Name: The legal name of the vehicle used to make the investment (examples: Ben Franklin Revocable Trust, Ben Franklin IRA, Franklin Family Trust), as displayed on the latest account statement or tax document.
Administered By A Bank?: Please indicate if you receive updates on this investment via your private bank or wirehouse (example: JP Morgan, Goldman Sachs, or Merrill Lynch).
Fund/Bank Legal Name: If administered by a bank, please provide the name (example: JP Morgan). If invested in a fund directly, please provide the legal name of the investment/fund (example: Founding Fathers, L.P.), as displayed on the latest account statement or tax document.
Expected tax document type: The tax document type the investment is expected to receive on a recurring basis (ex: K-1, PFIC, 1099).
Fund Admin/Portal Provider: The login destination for information pertaining to your investment (ex: Intralinks, Carta, etc.).
Information marked “optional” is not integral to the account setup but can be provided for a more detailed initial configuration.
Authorized Signatories
Authorized Signatories
Partner Entity Legal Name: Please choose an entity name from the dropdown. Arch will need the information for at least one authorized signatory on each entity.
Signatory Legal Name: The full legal name of an authorized contact for the corresponding Partner Entity. If there are joint signatories for an entity, please provide all signatory names on the same row (ex: Franklin Family Trust’s signatories are Ben Franklin and Deborah Read).
Signatory Email: The corresponding email address for the signatory provided. This email address will be included in the Letters of Authorization and may be used for DocuSign requests.
#2 Investment List Upload
After configuring your list of investments, you will then upload your investment template to the secure onboarding page sent over by your Arch Sales representative.
Upon receipt of the completed investment list, Arch will configure your portal based on the information provided. Your dedicated Arch onboarding manager will provide an upload and configuration timeline based on the size and complexity of your investment list.
