How to Complete a Task

In this article you’ll learn how to complete a task on the portal.

Steps to complete a task

  1. Navigate to the Tasks tab on the left hand side of your Portal

  2. Once there you will see a section titled Tasks - Inbox listing every task currently due or overdue

    1. From this view you are able to adjust the time frame of tasks you are seeing by selecting the from the list of tabs below the Due Today box

  3. Find the task you are trying to complete by filtering by entity/holding/account, searching for the task by name, or scrolling through the list of tasks

    1. You can filter or search using the funnel and magnifying glass icons on the right hand side of the portal

  4. Once you have found the task, navigate to the left side of your screen and click Details next to the Entity column, which will depend on the activity type

  5. Once you have accessed the Task page, you will see a check box on the right side of your screen under the Task heading

  6. Once you click the check box, you will be prompted to confirm that the task has been completed, add a date of completion, or fill out contact details

  7. Once you have confirmed the date or contact details, your task will be complete and move to the Completed section

To Complete Tasks in Bulk

  1. Select each Task line item you want to complete using the check boxes on the left side of the table, or the "Select All" checkbox at the top left of the table

  2. Select the "Mark As Complete" button that will appear in the top right of the table once you have selected the Task line items

  3. Finally, a pop-up will appear that lists the Tasks you are going to complete. Select the as-of date for the Task completions, and select Confirm
