Quarantined Documents

In this article, you will learn how Arch protects your data with Quarantined documents

Updated over 10 months ago

Arch's number one priority is data security. We take numerous precautions to ensure your documents and data are not viewed or available to anyone else. A few of our data/document checks lead to Quarantined documents.

A quarantined document is already fully processed by Arch, but is held back from being shown on the portal several potential reasons:

  • The data (cash flow amount, date, etc.) from the document is too similar to a document for another investor in the fund

  • The document is a tax document, and we need to validate the specific EIN/SSN before releasing on the portal

  • The document file itself is too similar to another upload, causing a duplicate flag

  • Our automation system is not 100% sure about processing, so an Operations Team member is scheduled to review the document before release

  • Multiple other situations

If you notice an "Unprocessed Communication" activity in Arch, and you would expect the Activity on your Digest, the Activity is most likely Quarantined and being reviewed by your Arch Operations team.

If you have any questions about a delay caused by a possibly quarantined activity, please reach out to support@arch.co
