There are two different ways to upload a tax document in Arch: on the investment level, or the account level. You can work through either method using the following steps:

Steps

  1. Navigate to the Tax Documents tab on the left side of your portal

  2. Next to the table title, click on the icon with a document and a +

  3. Select whether this is an investment-specific or account-specific tax document

  4. If Investment Specific:

    1. Select the entity the document belongs to and the document type you are uploading

    2. If you are adding a document for an existing holding, select Existing Holding and choose the relevant holding from the dropdown menu

    3. If you are adding a document for a holding not on Arch, select New Tax-Only Line Item, enter the holding name in the Tax Document Name field, and enter the firm name in the Source/Issuer field

    4. Select the Tax Year of the document from the dropdown menu

    5. Select whether the document is the final, draft, or estimated tax document for the year

    6. Upload the tax document by clicking the file field or dragging the document

    7. Click Create in the bottom right corner of your screen

  5. If Account Specific:

    1. Select the Account you would like to add documents for from the dropdown

    2. Upload the tax document by clicking the file field or dragging the document

    3. Select the Tax Year of the document from the dropdown menu

    4. Click Upload in the bottom right corner of the pop-up
